It is hard not to have been moved by the events in Manchester over the past week, and by Ariana Grande ‘s response. People of all ages have been gathering in the city centre to pay tribute to the devastating events of the city one year ago. Many tributes have been paid in honour of those who tragically lost their lives, and there is no reason why you cannot pay tribute at home on your own digital piano. Here at Chase Direct, we have been very close to the events as we are Manchester based. We would like to encourage people to create their own tributes. Hamilton – the World’s Hottest Show
In case you have missed the news – the big hit in the musical theatre world last year was undoubtedly ‘ Hamilton ’. Written by the ridiculously talented Lin Manuel Miranda, the show has smashed Broadway records and stolen the hearts of millions of musical theatre lovers across the globe.
Nilsson was an US singer-songwriter who pervaded the music charts in the ‘70s with pure pop-rock poetry. As a cult figure of his time Nilsson knew how to pull at the heart-strings with his trademark love-laboured songs that languished in lyrics of sadness and despair. Though Nilsson graced the air waves as a Swedish-rooted blonde beauty with his superficial good looks and romantic repertoire beneath the mask laid his own hidden depths that took on more of a Dirty Harry role than the angelic façade. The Composer carefully laid chicken seeds on top of the digital piano keys and let nature take its course! A video was posted online of the spritely chicken pecking joyously at the keys in the gorgeous sun French sun.
The chicken was obviously rather perplexed at the concept in the first few moments (…as we all were) but after a few nibbles of the seeds and on hearing his remarkable melody he really got into it; a virtuoso chicken graces the earth!
John Legend has the making of a child prodigy with his daughter of five months old named Luna Simone.
The singer showed a really special snapchat story on Thursday 6th October of him and his beautiful child playing a mini electric keyboard. Luna gracefully played the electric piano carefully and the joy on her face was a treat to watch.
Legend recognises how important it is to teach young children a musical instrument from an early age but to also ensure the child enjoys this. Science has proven that learning how to read and play music is a fantastic way of encouraging brain development.
The songwriter, singer and political activist Bob Geldof is celebrating his birthday today.
Geldof has had a number of huge achievements and successes in his life of 64 years so far for instance his Live Aid success in 1985 which was an enormous concert held in Wembley Stadium – London. Live Aid featured performers such as Status Quo, Adam Ant, Spandau Ballet, U2, Dire Straits and Queen.
Queen were a huge hit at Live Aid performing a selection of some of their greatest hits like ‘Radio Gaga’, ‘Crazy Little Thing Called Love’, ‘Hammer To Fall’, ‘We Will Rock You’, ‘We Are The Champions’ and their all-time famous hit which is of course ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’.

Robbie Williams’s (42) daughter Teddy apparently doesn’t care about his singing career! The girl of 4 years old has been known to sit on her father’s lap as he shows her videos from his Knebworth concert with 135,000 in a sea of complete awe and emotion and quite simply says ‘Can I have some cake?’
Teddy shows no interest in Robbie’s performances even when a sea of people is seen. Williams has stated that the ‘Embarrassment is yet to come!’
Williams has had an amazing career starting out as a young and energetic member of the ever popular Take That. He later on progressed into his own solo career releasing complete chart toppers such as ‘Angels’, ‘Rock DJ’ and ‘Let Me Entertain You’.
