Don’t Let the Summer Weather Stop you from Practising!
Here in the UK the weather is slowly starting to warm up. This is the kind of summer weather that a large proportion of the country has been waiting for and it is finally starting to appear! While outdoor activities are going to take centre stage for many families, do not forget to set aside a little time every day to practise your digital piano.
The Importance of Practise
The key to being a good pianist, or just a good musician, is practise. Some people practise once a month and then wonder why they aren’t able to play Mozart sonatas and Chopin etudes perfectly. Real practise happens frequently – every day for those who are serious about their piano playing.
The piano superstars of today did not get to the dizzying heights of fame by practising once a month. They practised for hours every day. With this in mind, do not let all your hard work go to waste by getting completely distracted by the summer weather. A couple of months of no practise can easily undo all of the hard work of the past six months – be warned!
Practising in Summer
To make the most of this glorious summer weather, move your digital piano near to a window. Let the sun shine down on you and your electric piano as you practise the trickiest parts of your music. If there is a rainy (or even cloudy) interlude in the day then seize the opportunity to power on your Chase piano and make the most of some precious practise time.
