Aldric Gozon Plays Chopin
Earlier this month, 15-year-old Aldric Gozon posted an impressive video to his Youtube channel which you can see here. The video shows Etude Op. 10 No. 4 being played blindfolded. His fingers move with great dexterity and his playing in general has remarkable feeling for a fifteen year old. The level at which Gozon plays Chopin is enough to inspire anyone and sets the piano playing benchmark high for fifteen year olds all over the world.
Throughout his lifetime, the Polish composer Chopin wrote a total of twenty seven etudes, which were published in the 1830s. These are studied today by pianists all over the globe and are regularly seen as a benchmark for good piano playing.
Play Chopin At Home
If you would like to start practising your Chopin at home but find yourself in need of an instrument to play on, consider a Kawai digital piano. Chopin pieces are often maddeningly fast and until fairly recently, digital and electric pianos would not have been able to keep up with the demands of playing. Now, however, digital pianos have evolved into instruments which often outperform their antiquated older brothers, the acoustic pianos.
