Lady Gaga Releases her New Song

Earlier this month, Lady Gaga released a teaser for the music video of her piano rendition of “Joanne (Where Do You Think You’re Goin’?)” which has turned heads across the globe. Gaga has been praised throughout her career by hoards of fans and onlookers, but there have always been others that just don’t get it…

The Inspiration for the New Lady Gaga Song

Gaga’s song was inspired by her late aunt Joanne Stefani Germanotta, who tragically passed away at just 19 years old due to complications from the rare condition, Lupus. The song deals with the difficult topic of loss and is full of deep and touching lyrics. It will speak to many people on a personal level who are struggling with their own grief and losses of friends and family members.

Stripped Down

The simple piano rendition of the song is cut down to just piano and voice, while the accompanying video shows aspects in black and with a colorful scene of her dancing alone in a field in an elegant lilac gown. This is not the first time Gaga has stripped her songs down to the simple duo of piano and voice, and nobody can deny that it works beautifully.
